Sign Inspections

[2009-current]: Virginia DOT, like all other DOTs in the US, has an immense focus on the safety of the travelling public. This requires that traffic sign structures (the metal structures that hold the green directional signs along highways) are inspected and assessed for condition. RAM provides structural condition inspections of approximately 60 overhead traffic sign or signal pole structures each year for the Northern Virginia District and 60 or so for the Richmond District. RAM is a subcontractor to Alpha Corporation on this multi-year contract.

ICC project basically is east-west highway will link the areas between I-270 and I-95/US-Rt1 within Montgomery and Prince George’s county with access controls. The purpose of the project is to increase mobility, safety, provide effectively transportations to users, decrease volume of traffic and accidents on local roads, increase mobility for job opportunity, economic development of counties, and improve quality of life.
